Rimini cannot be reached directly by air. There are three possibilities:
A) Bologna Airport BLQ (120 km). It is one of the most important international airports in Italy, and runs daily scheduled European and intercontinental flights.
SHUTTLE BUS services are available from Bologna's International "Guglielmo Marconi" airport to reach Rimini railway station (about 90 minutes) and back:
Alternatively, from Bologna airport to Bologna railway station by BLQ shuttle service (about 20 minutes; http://aerobus.bo.it/en) and then to Rimini railway station by train (1 hour by high speed connections).

B) Milan Airports: Malpensa MXP (350 km) or Linate LIN (300 km). They are the second and the fourth most important international airports in Italy. The journey from Milan railway station to Rimini will take 2-3 hours by train. For further information see the “By train” section.
C) Ancona Airport AOI (80 km). It features regular scheduled flights to Rome, London, Duesseldorf, Munich, Madrid, Stockholm, Bruxelles Charleroi, and Skopje. There is a train line that runs from Ancona to Rimini (see the “By train” section)
Quick and regular rail links to all major Italian cities. Travelling times are 2-3 hours from Milan, 4 from Rome, 2-3 from Florence, 2-3 from Venice and 1 from Bologna.

Rimini is served by the Autostrada A14 (A14 motorway), linking it to Bologna (about 90 minutes) and Milan (4 hours) to the north and to Bari (6 hours) to the south. 4 motorway exits: Rimini Nord, Rimini Sud, Riccione, Cattolica.
